Neue Bannwelle in den USA bzw. UK
Wie es scheint gibt es eine neue Bannwelle von Microsoft...
Diesmal werden wieder die Konsolen gebannt und nicht die Gamertags.
Es gibt Berichte von Usern, wonach derzeit wohl alle Modelle von Laufwerken und alle Firmwares betroffen sind.
Mehr Informationen haben wir derzeit leider noch nicht für Euch......
Wir halten Euch aber auf dem Laufenden.

We're currently seeing lots of discussions on our forums (like here or here) and on IRC about console/hardware bans again.
So it seems Microsoft is busy with a new Xbox LIVE console (not gamertag) ban wave atm. Right now we don't have a lot of details.
Except it doesn't seem to be linked to any particular FW version or drive model, as users with all type of FWs and drives report bans, while others with the same configuration still seem fine.

Hier noch die Info aus dem anderen Thread: Auch in anderen Foren werden diverse Bannaktionen gemeldet, unabhängig von Firmware oder Game.
Vermehrt jedoch Games mit wave4 und activate.iso, aber ebenfalls Geräte mit 1.61. Hier ein paar Zitate aus einem Forum:

I can confirm that bans have started today, one of my customers called me to say his console was banned when he tried to sign in. Console ban only. The only 2 backups he has are COD4 and COD world at war.

Ich hab die anderen Wellen nicht miterlebt, heißt das es ist jetzt auch in DE zeit,das Lankabel zu ziehen?
Edit: Dore,dein Gamertag sieht aber auch nicht allzugut aus.

Von mir wurde jetzt nur die Falcon mit 1.61 Sammy Laufwerk gebannt.
Komischerweise habe ich mit dieser äußerst selten gespielt, geschweige denn online.
Mag vielleicht daran liegen das Leute meinten ihre Wave 3 spiele auf Wave 2 zu patchen oder wie momentan mit der Activate.iso.
Meine anderen beiden Jasper / LiteOn´s schnurren immernoch, womit ich die Spiele eigentlich immer sofort spiele wenn sie public sind ( +/- 2 Wochen vor Release ).
Kann nur zufall sein, finds aber schon Lustig
Jetzt ärger ich mich noch mehr, weil ich letztens die Xenon upgedated hab anstatt sie zu JTAG´en -_-

Here's a Halloween surprise you probably weren't expecting.

US, October 30, 2009 - Wake up this morning only to find your Xbox Live account has been banned? That's probably because you had a modded console and were playing illegal, pirated copies of games.
"We have taken action against a small percentage of consoles that have been modified to play pirated game discs," a Microsoft spokesperson told IGN. "In line with our commitment to combat piracy and support safer and more secure gameplay for the more than 20 million members of our Xbox LIVE community, we are suspending these modded consoles from Xbox LIVE."
Though Microsoft wouldn't confirm specifically when these bannings took place, a quick look over on its official forums suggest it's been going on over the course of this past week. Plenty of users have created threads on the technical feedback forum reporting of having their Xbox 360 console banned.
Microsoft also added this is a standing policy and isn't tied to any specific time-frame.
"All consumers should know that piracy is illegal and that modifying their Xbox 360 console to play pirated discs violates the Xbox LIVE terms of use, will void their warranty and result in a ban from Xbox LIVE," the spokesperson added. "The health of the video game business depends on customers paying for the genuine products and services they receive from manufacturers, retailers, and the third parties that support them."

Wenn es in den USA schon beginnt, denke ich dass die nächste Bannwelle in DE mit dem Herbstupdate kommt.
Bin ich mal gespannt, erlebe meine erste Bannwelle mit einer geflashten Box :grins: entweder man hat glück und es passiert nix oder man hat pech und wird gebannt !
Aber man weiß ja selbst, worauf man sich da eingelassen hat ! Ein Katze/Maus spiel
