Microsoft wird im November ein familienfreundliches Account-Paket für
Xbox LIVE anbieten.
Passend zum Start der familientauglichen Xbox 360-Erweiterung Kinect
wird Microsoft ein spezielles Xbox LIVE-Accountpaket veröffentlichen.
Das Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack wird für 99,99 Dollar (ca. 80 Euro) vier
Xbox LIVE Gold-Mitgliedschaften zum Preis von zwei beinhalten.
Zum Paket gehören neben vier individuellen Accounts das Family Center,
welches über das Dashboard und Xbox.com erreichbar ist. Über das Family
Center werden Familien- sowie Account-Einstellungen verwaltet werden
können. Das Hauptmitglied wird in der Lage sein, Microsoft Points zu
kaufen und sie an andere Mitglieder zu verteilen. Zudem werden
Aktivitätsreporte automatisch angefertigt, die das Spielverhalten der
Mitglieder dokumentieren. Sämtliche Käufe werden über den Account des
Hauptmitglieds abgerechnet, welches andere Mitglieder zu Käufen
autorisieren kann.
Microsoft plant schließlich, mit exklusiven Familieninhalten sowie
Rabatten das Angebot schmackhaft zu machen.
