KI verantwortlich für Verschiebung
Am 15. April 2010 soll es nun endlich soweit sein und Splinter Cell: Conviction soll in den Handel kommen. Doch warum wurde das Spiel verschoben? Nach der Aussage von Ubisoft's Patrick Reading, war die KI größtenteils der Auslöser für die Verschiebung. Die KI war in diesem Fall viel zu schlau, so dass etwas ungeübtere Spieler kaum eine Chance hatten. Dieses Problem soll jetzt aber der Vergangenheit angehören.

Im April wird Sam nach zahlreichen Verschiebungen endlich in ein neues Abenteuer aufbrechen. Wie Microsoft mitteilt, wird das Splinter Cell: Conviction dann auch im Rahmen eines Xbox 360-Pakets erhältlich sein. Das Bundle umfasst neben dem Spiel die 250 GB-Fassung der Konsole sowie zwei kabellose Controller. In den USA wird das Angebot mit 399 Dollar zu Buche schlagen.

Demo kommt!
Creative Director Maxime Béland von Ubisoft hat nun bestätigt, dass es zu Splinter Cell: Conviction definitiv eine Demo geben wird. Wann und in welchem Rahmen die Anspielversion erscheinen soll, hat Béland indessen nicht verraten.

DLC bereits in Planung
Ubisoft möchte sich zwar vorerst voll und ganz dem Hauptspiel widmen, hat sich aber schon klare Gedanken zum ersten DLC gemacht.
An diesen wird sofort gearbeitet, sobald Splinter Cell: Conviction veröffentlicht wurde.
